SteamShell RBA by Atmizoo of Atmizone

The SteamShell is the successor of the extremely popular VapeShell, Atmizone's iconic RBA.

Rethinking and improving things of the VapeShell, while adding inspiration from the innovative VapeSnail has helped Atmizoo create the newest RBA from their labs. Taking advantage of the benefits afforded by the SnailTank, the combination of the SteamShell with the SnailTank gives unlimited potential for this unbeatable new bridge from Atmizoo.

SteamShell Improvements

The SteamShell delivers an improved deck with cut-outs on outer rim for easier rebuilding and better wicking. It is connected with the upper chimney body via a sleeve-type connection, to allow perfect real-time access to the deck as required, without having to empty liquid from the tank.

Air flow is regulated directly beneath the coil at the exhaust port via fixed air flow tubes for maximum flavour concentration, density, and vapour production. This provides the ability to swap out air flow tubes at any time, while maintaining your coil build, wicking, and liquid fill levels without any disturbance.

Eleven air flow options in total are available, and two different Chimney Tubes come included to cater to the needs of any vaping style.

SteamShell Features

The SteamShell currently comes in only Stainless Steel finish, with Atmizoo's classic "SS Matte" finish, essentially a close natural but cleaned-up appearance of CNC processed stainless steel.

The Deck

At first sight, the rectangular deck of the SteamShell resembles much to that of the VapeShell. Diagonal placement of posts for single coil setups, hosting the same high precision small pan head Phillips post screws, plus rails to capture wire either between the rail and screw head/body, or around the screw shank (depending on wire diameter). Wicking holes are still at the bottom of the deck, and air still comes from directly below the coil.

But this is where the similarities end.

Convenient cut-outs on the outer deck rim have been added, for easier rebuilding and marking of coil position. The liquid intake holes are drilled out in a special cone-like shape, to ensure sufficient liquid intake while wicking.

Real-time access to the deck is a must for any contemporary rebuildable design. Atmizoo has materialized it in this style of RBA in the most efficient and user friendly way, by connecting the deck and the chimney body (evaporation chamber) parts through a CNC-machined, precision-fit, sleeve style connection. When used with the SnailTank and similar Boro tanks, users can directly access the deck at any time desired to check and adjust your build without the need to dump liquid from the tank.

The Air Flow

The air flow ring and air flow tubes that used to be pinned from the top of the deck are now gone. These have been eliminated in place of the need for a precise real-time configurable air flow requirement, as already introduced with previous Atmizoo projects (VapeSnail, Tripod2, and Aer).

On the SteamShell, the air flow is regulated directly beneath the coil, through fixed air flow tubes while now adding the ability to swap air flow tubes at any time, keeping the build and liquid inside the tank intact. This allows users to dial in air flow via five MTL pin options that have air hole diameters of 0.8mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.5mm, or 1.8mm, pinned inside the standard 4.0mm diameter air pin nest, OR switch out the complete air tubes to a total of five air flow tubes that have an air hole diameter of 2.0mm, 2.5mm, 3.0mm, 3.5mm, or 4.0mm (this doubles as the nest for the MTL pins). Alternatively, users can completely remove the Air Tubes for a maximum airflow option of 5.0mm diameter for airy DL vaping.

Suitable to vape for MTL, rDL, or DL vaping styles.

The whole range of draw types and air flow resistances are taken care of with this selection of air flow tubes and pins as described above.

But Atmizoo has not stopped at that.

Fine tuning MTL, rDL, or DL profiles also requires the proper airflow outlet through the evaporation chamber and the chimney. This has been taken into account with the inclusion of TWO chimney options out of the box, carefully designed to serve MTL and tight rDL vaping styles through the Restricted Chimney, or loose rDL and DL vaping styles through the Open Chimney. This simplifies things with a design solution that is friendlier to the end user compared to the use of chimney reducers.

A sturdy 510 auxiliary connection base/adapter for rebuilding is included. The usage of a 510 adapter still remains as the best option while maintaining the ability to open up airflow as wide as possible.
