The Dani Box Mini by dicodes and the Kayfun Lite 2019 24mm by SvoëMesto have been an iconic duo since the release of both of these products. Now, they are available as a joint Special Edition release, in this DARK SILK BUNDLE.

Featuring a unique Dark Silk finish that is different from the other Kayfun Lite Special Edition releases, the Dark Silk is a surface treatment method which has been developed in collaboration between dicodes and SvoëMesto for a perfectly matched pairing. The surface is prepared in a multi-stage blasting procedure before being DLC coated with a colour that is unique to this project. Due to harmonized processes, the surfaces of both the atomizer and the box mod are identical every time, with a smooth matte finish that looks like... dark silk.

What is DLC Coating?

DLC stands for Diamond-Like Carbon. This method of coating is similar to PVD (Particle Vapour Deposition), but increases the molecular structure of the metal at its surface, making it as hard as diamond, creating a black, yet extremely hard-wearing and scratch resistant surface. This process of coating is typically used on luxury watches, and is the perfect treatment for an every day use device like this product.

The Kayfun [lite] is the entry level atomizer of SvoëMesto's rebuildable atomizer series, that boils down all relevant ingredients of a Kayfun in to the most compact Kayfun format yet.
