Shipping Limitations of Lithium Batteries:

All lithium cells have shipping limitations, and will have restrictions placed on them. Restrictions vary depending on the cell size, quantity purchased, and whether you purchase them with or without a device that can accept these cells. In most cases, all shipments to international destinations can only be shipped via UPS using any of the shipping methods as long as the volume is less than 4 cells, or using the dedicated marked lithium shipping options for volumes greater than 4 cells. For shipments to the United States, we can ship any volume via UPS Standard (Ground) service, or up to 4 cells via any of the other UPS options. If your purchase includes a mod that can accept these cells, then the cell will be pre-installed in to your device with a strip installed between the cell and the device's battery contact to keep the circuit open for transport safety. Special handling fees for the shipping arrangements may be required for lithium-dedicated shipping options of greater than 4 cells. You may be contacted regarding your shipping arrangements if you purchase cells from us, and we will present options to you if your particular order arrangement does not comply with current regulations.

Lithium shipments within Canada can only be either CanadaPost Expedited, or UPS Ground.

General Battery Safety Caution and Warnings - PAY ATTENTION!

IMR cells do NOT have a protection circuit built in, but can go into thermal runaway if shorted out, damaged, mistreated, mishandled, punctured, or have a load applied above their safe current discharge ratings. They should never be discharged below 2.5 volts or cycle life/performance will be reduced.  It Is HIGHLY recommended that you ONLY use smart chargers when charging IMR Cells (or ANY battery for that matter).
