Stratum 212 by OLC
The Stratum 212 is a full mechanical bottom feed mechanical mod by OLC of Russia, and follows the Stratum product lineage of providing some of the most exquisite and well-built ultra compact mods on the market.
The immediate striking thing that anyone will notice about this mod is the beautifully intricate and heavily detailed fine engravings to this polished Delrin body. Many will say this represents one of the finest Delrin mods on the market, and one look and touch of these engravings, it would be hard to disagree with such a statement.
The internal structure of the Stratum 212 is based on the original OLC Revolver V2's design, which brought a quick detach/attach bottle system and an innovative self-cleaning switch design that allowed for high power conductivity with self-cleaning properties to minimize the need for cleaning maintenance.
The Stratum 212 takes the Revolver V2's bottle system which does not require an exposed hose to make connection to the feeding system. Light pressure is required to pull out the bottle or push it back in, and o-rings in the customized cap allow for a solid seal that holds in place. The bottle cap system has been custom designed to fit on to the Italian Cappy BFX bottle made by Infinity Mods and SunBox Mods. Additional bottles can be purchased >>HERE<<.
The Revolver V2's innovative self-cleaning switch design has also been carried over to to the Stratum 212. A simple connection system made of solid brass throughout (except for the stainless steel 510 feeder pin and landing pad) allows for consistently hard hits with minimal voltage drop. The action of the switch moving on the feeder pin enables the self-cleaning mechanism to clear any built up carbon.
The Stratum 212 is topped off with a 22mm recessed stainless steel landing pad / catch cup design, which allows atomizers to sit low for a minimal profile shape, and keeps liquid from running over the mod in the event of an over-squonk. Designed to fit 22mm diameter atomizers or smaller.
Powered by a single 18650 cell, the cell is inserted POSITIVE DOWN in to the solid brass battery tube.
